RUBY TUESDAY

This is Magnolia Ave in St. Augustine, Florida. The trees are actually oak trees but Magnolia has such a pretty sound to it. Please enlarge to appreciate the beauty of the hanging moss and spot my "ruby".

SKY WATCH FRIDAY

This is the Naval Academy Bridge built in 1994 to replace the 1920 draw bridge. I remember everyone complaining about how ugly the new bridge would be but I actually like it from a distance. When I actually drive over it I'm to short to see over the side wall :( You can still see a piece of the old draw bridge. They left this is place to be used by locals to fish and crab. There is also a park and picnic spot under the old bridge.

SKY WATCH FRIDAY

Blue Angels flying over the Severn River in Annapolis. They perform every May during graduation week at the Naval Academy. It's a particularly bad traffic day for locals. All the parents are in town for graduation and several area bridges close for the afternoon. Nothing worse than half the roads and twice the cars!
