Let it snow, let it snow let it STOP! It started at 10 pm on Friday and snowed till midnight on Saturday. This was the earliest storm of this size on record for the Baltimore area. We received about 24 inches and Saturday the city came to a halt. It was the great! I didn't have to work and I stayed in my jammies till noon ! Wrapped all my Christmas gifts and rearranged my kitchen cupboards. It's Tuesday now and they still haven't plowed my street. The snow has frozen to the road and the three miles to the main street is a long scary ride. Ok I'm ready for spring! More ABC Wednesday on the sidebar.
Your photos are marvelous! Really capture the results of the storm. I have a good friend who lives in Baltimore and he just sent me pictures this morning of the snow -- EVERYWHERE! It does look beautiful but having lived in Montana for 16 years I know that kind of beauty can get old after a few days. Does make for a great post for the day though!
Have a great week, stay warm and wishing you and your family a most wonderful and Merry Christmas!
I'm so agreeable - it's time for spring even though winter hasn't been so horrible this year. Last year 90+ inches fell immediately in mid-December and stayed til March. I'm hoping it won't be as bad this year. Happy Christmas to you and yours!
Hi Shirl! You are ready for a white Christmas with twice the amount of snow we had! You asked how I could let it snow on my blog. Well I used this address: http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2008/12/simple-snow-effect-widget-for-blogger.html in my sidebar for a new gadget. That must do the trick! Merry X-mas!
Well between an assignment for my job and my sisters fun blog photo-phase.blogspot.com I decided it was time to test the waters. Now, of course, I'll need a better camera soon! That brings me back to shopping!

We in Albany, NY missed it, but NYC got clobbered too. Great pics.
Thats a lot of snow and when its icy it is definitely scary. I don't blame you for staying in your jammies and getting home stuff done.
That's some snow...! Great post!

We've been hit too - not so much snow as you've got but it only takes a small amount for chaos to be caused here.
We rarely get snow in my area of the country so I love all these snow photos. Stay warm and happy holidays!
This is the White Christmas many are dreaming of. Merry Christmas!
