SKY WATCH FRIDAY

This is the Naval Academy Bridge built in 1994 to replace the 1920 draw bridge. I remember everyone complaining about how ugly the new bridge would be but I actually like it from a distance. When I actually drive over it I'm to short to see over the side wall :( You can still see a piece of the old draw bridge. They left this is place to be used by locals to fish and crab. There is also a park and picnic spot under the old bridge.

In the enlargement, it makes such a wonderful photo with the buildings peeking out from beneath. Great shot!

That is a really nice bridge. There is so much more in this photo, like the domed building. I would love to see more of that.
